Cliffs of Moher
The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s, and arguably the world’s, most beautiful examples of natural beauty. On the edge of the Burren region, the cliffs measure a staggering 214m/700ft at their highest peak and span across Clare’s West Atlantic Coast for 8km. This attraction also boasts an expansive underground tourist information centre which was built into the grasslands along the cliff tops. Experience nature like never before as you explore the many trails, pathways and hidden beauties of the Cliffs of Moher.
The Cliffs of Moher are easily accesible from the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel via the N18 and N85 and we are the perfect base for all of your Wild Atlantic Way adventures.
Highlights of the Cliffs of Moher experience include:
- Panoramic views of an iconic breath-taking landscape
- O’ Brien’s Tower, from where you can see 5 counties & the Aran Islands on a clear day
- Ireland’s largest mainland seabird colony which includes Puffins
- The Cliffs Exhibition which brings to life the geology and wildlife of the Cliffs of Moher
