A day out at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park is a must see on your exploration of Ireland. This medieval castle was built in 1425 and restored to its original splendour in 1954, transforming it into the ideal location for a trip back in time. Enjoy the sights, sounds tastes, scents, of this enchanting place as you stroll from house to house or around the charming village street complete with school, post office, doctors house, hardware shop, printers and of course McNamara’s pub!

As well as tours of the castle grounds, there are medieval banquets available to book for a night of feasting, festivities and fun! There are two sittings at 5.30pm & 8.45 pm, both promise to be an experience you won’t forget. Only 20 minutes away from the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel, Bunratty Castle & Folk Park is the perfect place to make wonderful memories.

The gardens of the park have been restored to their former glory and can be explored at leisure or you can opt to join a guided walking tour.
