Bunratty Castle and Folk Park
Bunratty Castle and Folk Park is a must see on your exploration of Ireland. This medieval castle was built in 1425 and restored to its original splendour in 1954, transforming it into the ideal location for a trip back in time. The Folk Park is reminiscent of olden times, containing a post office, doctor’s house and even McNamara’s public house.
As well as tours of the castle grounds, there are medieval banquets available to book for a night of feasting, festivities and fun! There are two sittings at 5.30pm & 8.45 pm, both promise to be an experience you won’t forget.
The gardens of the park have been restored to their former glory and can be explored at lesuire or you can opt to join a guided walking tour. Facilites at the park include parking, cafes and eateries, gift shop and on-site children's playground. A day trip to Bunratty is a must for a family day out in Limerick.
Do not miss out on this wonderful opportunity to experience Medieval Ireland at its best.
