We very much look forward to welcoming customers back to Kilmurry Lodge Hotel and Nelligan’s Bar and Restaurant. Our team have been busy developing new and exciting menus and great staycation ideas for you to experience with family, friends or colleagues.
Key members of our management have now successfully completed external Covid 19 prevention training. Our “Protecting You” protocol, which was developed by our trusted team of professional is in place and we have made necessary alterations to the hotel in line with HSE regulations to ensure your well-being. Our hotels specious lay out and our 3 acres of manicured lawned gardens will give you peace of mind and confidence to feel safe, relax and enjoy your stay. We have focused our attention in the following key areas and specified the members of our Management Team that are responsible for our “Protecting you” standards.
Auditing, ensuring standards and monitoring - Lee Gregson, Jack & Siobhan Hoare
A constant hourly Heath and Safety audit is carried out by the Lee our managing director , the owners of the hotel, Jack and Siobhan and Management Team, ensuring exacting standards are kept in all areas. This includes social spacing and behaviour of all on our premises, extending to the 3 acres of parkland that the hotel is situated on, uniquely for a suburban hotel we have plenty of outdoor space to enjoy and perhaps exercise, yoga or Alfresco dine. An unlimited budget has been agreed upon by our managing director and owners to combat any potential spread of Covid-19 and to ensure our guests are completely and safe and protected when choosing Kilmurry Lodge Hotel.
Cleaning and Sanitising - Shantal Thomas & Jayne Fitzgerald
Our employees have been trained to ensure disinfectants are being used safely and correctly ,safe working practises with regards to all public health information is carried out. We have introduced a continual cleaning and sterilisation regime that is managed by a 24hr management system. Several sanitising stations are available for all guests to use throughout the hotel. Paper towels are available in all public bathrooms and every soap dispenser has been well-stocked with antibacterial hand wash. Rubbish bins have been located in essential areas to make disposing of paper towels simple.
Fitness and Well being - Jayne Fitzgerald
Our fitness studio remains open strictly to residents only ensuring social spacing and max numbers of users is adhered to. Our strict regime of sterilising and sanitising continues in this area. Antibacterial sprays and paper towels are available at each row of exercise machines and in the free weight area. Extra signage has been placed within the Fitness Studio to ensure guests are following standard self-cleaning protocol. Our large indoor areas have been repurposed to provide group exercise classes at safe distance intervals, taking care of both body and mind.
Food and Beverage - Chef Anthony O’Rourke & Anthony Walsh
We are operating a free delivery room service “Nelligans take away” menu allowing you to enjoy your favourite dishes in the comfort of your bedroom - all meals arrive super tasty, chef prepared and sealed. Nelligans Bar & Restaurant has incorporated social spacing using our large spacious areas. We will utilise our outdoor seating area as best we can to help social distancing measures. All our cutlery is prepared and sterilised using ultra violet light and crockery washing occurs over 85 degrees to ensure the most sterile preparation possible. Sanitising and disinfecting of these areas will continue to be done every 30 minutes as part of our cleaning and sterilisation regime. Guests sanitation stations are supplied before entering any of our dining areas.
Our renowned breakfast buffet has been adapted and is now served directly to your table, or via preordered “grab and go” wrapped, fresh and ready to set you up for your day ahead.
Technology - Jayne Fitzgerald & Jessica Curran
Infrared thermometers will be used to conduct temperature checks of our employees prior to starting their shifts. Contactless payment options have been made available throughout our entire hotel. Contactless accounting is available upon request. All our paper related information delivery has been re imagined using technology, for a slick, hygienic solution to keep you informed.
Accommodation Services - Shantal Thomas
All our linen, towels and uniforms are professionally cleaned off site by a highly reputable laundry company. All waste materials are disposed of correctly. All our sanitising products are supplied by Ecolab and our team have been fully trained regarding correct and safe use.
All our bedrooms are self vented and have no other shared air feed directly into the room.Windows will be opened throughout services to increase ventilation in all guest bedrooms. Guest toiletries and bedroom amenities will be fully replaced prior to new arrivals. Our Bedrooms have minimum of 72hours non let time until deep cleaning takes place by our team. An extensive, thorough inspection of all guest bedrooms will be carried out by Shantal prior to any of our guests checking-in.
