"We made the Kilmurry our base as we visited the University of Limerick and then on to Dingle and Doolin. The staff was excellent - friendly, accommodating and helpful. We arrived very early and our rooms were ready, as promised. By our third checkin over ten days - they welcomed us, knew our names and who we were looking to meet. The rooms were large, clean and decorated tastefully. A short cab/bus ride from Limerick City. A full breakfast is included and there is a restaurant for drinks/lunch/dinner. Some issues with the wifi connection but the staff offered the computer at the desk anytime we needed it. Excellent choice."

'I stayed in the Kilmurry Lodge in September 2011. I have to say the booking was excellent value, with the room very comfortable and finished and presented to a high standard. All of the staff which I encountered were extremely welcoming and friendly. The hotel had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout. We booked this hotel primarily due to its location beside the University, and it really is only a few minutes walk from the hotel, which is great. There is plenty of free parking on the hotel grounds. Also had dinner in the restaurant and was again great value and high quality. Overall, highly recommended.' Dave January 2012

"We stayed in Kilmurry Lodge as we were attending something at the University of Limerick. The room was spotless and very spacious with nice furnishings and decor. The food was excellent both in the restaurant and the Bar. The selection of food is first class. Breakfast was great and plentiful. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them especially Mr Patrick Murray (Assistant Manager) He made our stay most comfortable with his courteous, friendly and efficient manner. He seems a very capable young man. Also Anna on reception with her lovely smile made our stay very pleasant. Enjoyed our stay immensely, great location close by University. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. Overall this hotel was on par with some four star hotels. I find it hard to believe this hotel , Kilmurry Lodge is only rated 3 stars."
