Rathbane is a municipal golf course founded in 1998 and designed by James Healy. It has developed into a magnificent 18-hole parkland golf course measuring 5,659 metres off the blue stakes with a Par 70 and a standard scratch of 70, it is somewhat shorter for the ladies at 5,103 metres with a Par 73 and a standard scratch to match. The club continues to make improvements both to the course and the clubhouse facilities, combining in a challenging round of golf and a memorable day out. The club offers the best value golf in Limerick City, a friendly welcome and a chance to meet local fellow golfers. Rathbane golf club is a ten minute drive from the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel.
